Barbados is a honeymooners paradise. It has loads of fine dining restaurants and beautiful hotels on amazing beaches. There are also lots of activities such as island tours, historical sites and even natural wonders like Harrison’s cave, you can find them all in our Barbados travel guide. It all depends on what you are looking for! Barbados is definitely the perfect spot for that romantic getaway, whether you are an active couple or prefer to sit on the beach with a cocktail and a good book. Most of these hotels are located along the west and south coasts of the island, but we included one of our favourites located on the east coast which we think is perfect for a Barbados honeymoon!

Sandals
Sandals has resorts dotted throughout the Caribbean. Sandals Barbados is the newest addition and it is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway in Barbados. It’s an adult only resort and it is just oozing with romance.
There are beautiful sun beds made for two, fire pits, and double hammocks. The rooms even have a 2 person soaking tub on the balcony! If you are staying in Club level or Butler suites, there is champagne waiting for you in the mini bar.
At Sandals you can find the perfect room for you and your other half. From basic rooms with beer and soft drinks in the mini bar to Club level and Butler Suites, with premium alcohols and room service. The Butler Suites provide you with 24 hr service so you don’t even need to lift a finger.
On top of all of that, everything is included at Sandals Resorts, from water sports to five star dining. This means that you technically don’t need to be pulling out any extra money while on vacation. Also, Sandals is the absolute perfect spot for weddings or honeymoons! When you stay at a Sandals Resort for 3 nights you get a basic wedding package included. The staff at Sandals also goes out of their way to make sure that everything is perfect and ultra romantic when you visit on your honeymoon!
Atlantis Hotel
Located on the East Coast of Barbados, Atlantis Hotel is a little more secluded than some of the other hotels on the list. There are ocean view rooms and coastal view rooms, each room is quite large with a king size bed. Atlantis Hotel is a great spot to relax for a weekend. There is a beautiful restaurant downstairs with an ocean view ready to cater to the hotel guest’s needs. The hotel does run a Sunday lunch which is open to the public and the hotel does allow kids which are probably the only downsides if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. There is also a hiking trail which runs in front of the hotel, it is part of the great train hike which runs along Barbados’ old railroad. This is great if you’re feeling guilty about drinking all those cocktails all weekend. You can also make your way down to Soup Bowl to watch the surfers and eat at one of the local rum shops nearby. Probably the best Barbados accommodation you can find (at least we think so!).
The House Hotel
Adult only luxury on the West coast of Barbados. This boutique hotel is located right next door to Daphne’s restaurant. It is small and cozy with beautiful rooms. The House sits right on the beautiful west coast which is known for its perfectly calm seas and white sands. You can relax in the pool or on the beach while having cocktails at this beautiful intimate hotel.
Cobbler’s Cove
This hotel is located close to the small town of Speightstown. It is an all – inclusive intimate resort. The historic building that is Cobbler’s Cove has been totally transformed into a beautiful hotel with lush gardens all around. The rooms are styled with traditional bajan decor. The hotel does not sit directly on the beach, it has a deck that looks out over the water, and the beach is located on either side of the deck. That’s totally minor though as you can sit at the bar with a cocktail and enjoy the most perfect sunsets from here. It’s such a hard life!
The Crane
The Crane hotel is located about 10 minutes away from the airport on the south eastern side of the island. The Crane over looks the Crane beach which is basically a semi-secluded beach
It offers many 5 star restaurants and lots of pools for you to enjoy.
