Barbados has accommodation across every budget — from self-catering apartments a short walk from the beach to some of the most celebrated luxury hotels in the Caribbean. The key is knowing which part of the island suits you and what you are looking for from your stay.
I live here. This is the honest guide — not a sponsored roundup.

It depends what you want. The west coast is calmer, more upscale and best for swimming. The south coast is busier, more affordable and better for nightlife and local food. First-timers often prefer the south coast for the value and atmosphere.
