If you are looking for a luxury all inclusive vacation then look no further than Sandals. We visited Sandals Jamaica over a long weekend and it was perfect. Getting from Barbados to Jamaica was surprisingly difficult considering we were travelling within the Caribbean, our flight took us to Trinidad, St. Maarten, and then Kingston, Jamaica. We spent 3 hours in Kingston and just relaxed in one of the lounges there. We drank red stripe and ate jerk chicken from island grill and then boarded our tiny plane to Montego Bay to experience our first ever luxury all inclusive vacation. Luxury All Inclusive Vacation
When we finally arrived at Sandals Montego Bay, we were greeted as soon as we came off the bus. We were then taken to a beautiful room which we learned was Club Concierge, a private check in area for Club level guests. The staff were friendly and helpful. They escorted us to our room and then as we stepped inside it hit us, we would be spending our weekend in a luxury all inclusive, for the first time ever! Reveling in our excitement at actually being at Sandals, for all of about 3 minutes,we made our way downstairs for some drinks.
Sandals Royal Caribbean
The first morning of our luxury all inclusive vacation started with finally seeing our magnificent view. We decided to open our doors and spend some time lounging around. So we ordered room service and sat out on the balcony with some Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee and enjoyed our sea view room.
We spent the morning touring the Royal Caribbean resort in Montego Bay, where we got to explore the famous overwater bungalows. These overwater bungalows were absolutely gorgeous. They come with butler service, premium alcohol, and the most amazing view, the epitome of luxury all inclusive vacation. Some of them even had infinity pools…
There were so many other room options for your luxury all inclusive vacation at the Royal Caribbean, including swim up rooms which lead straight in to the pools and beachfront rooms, all of them were absolutely gorgeous.
After our tour, we had a buffet lunch and then we headed back to Montego Bay to explore our playground. Since we had only just arrived the night before we didn’t get to see too much of Sandals Montego Bay.
Sandals Montego Bay
After a walk around and exploring more of the rooms and taking in the beautiful gardens at the Montego Bay resort, we hit the bar. There were so many different bars to choose from but the go-to bar was the one right by the lobby, probably because it was on our way to and from our room!
After a cocktail at the swim up bar we headed to the beach and relaxed. There were so many gazebos on the water, which make perfect locations for weddings.
That afternoon we headed back up to the room to change for dinner, where we tried out our amazing soaking tub on our balcony with some champagne, the perfect at to end the first day of our luxury all inclusive vacation. In the evening we chose to eat at Bayside. For our last dinner at Sandals Montego Bay I tried the tuna as a starter which was delicious and then we both ate the fillet mignon which was cooked to perfection. We ended our dinner with a crème Brule which we shared and it was so good!
Sandals South Coast
Our second full day in Jamaica was spent on an hour and a half long bus ride down to Sandals South Coast. The grand entrance and beautiful gardens of Sandals really blew our minds. Once again we were taken to Club Concierge where we received a glass of champagne while checking in. We took our resort tour and explored the grounds and visited the overwater bungalows with their signature heart shaped layout.
One of our favorite spots was the Latitudes bar, which is an epic bar located over the water, the perfect location for sundowners with beautiful little hammocks hanging off the bar. It was the most perfect place to lounge.
That evening we enjoyed the entertainment on the beach, a magnificent buffet and endless drinks. The show was so entertaining, but when it was done, the party did not end there. We headed up to the Martini Bar where we continued drinking and enjoyed watching some amazingly talented people sing karaoke.
Feeling a little rough the next morning we made our way to breakfast, as we sat down we were offered mimosas which we obviously could not say no to! We were making the most of our first luxury all inclusive vacation, but unfortunately it was coming to an end. We explored the grounds a bit before we had to leave. The plan was to take a 3 hour shuttle to Kingston to arrive at the airport for our 4pm flight. So at 10am we checked out and we were on our way to Kingston to go back home.
Our luxury all inclusive vacation weekend at Sandals Resorts in Jamaica was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed every minute of it. If you are looking to explore outside of the resort then check out some of the top things to do in Jamaica.
