The Barbados West coast hotels can be a bit more pricey than some other places in Barbados. A lot of the West coast hotels are located close to the beach or on the beach. Barbados’ west coast is also known as the Platinum coast and if you see the beaches you will understand why! The water’s along the west coast are usually very calm paired with beautiful white sand makes it the perfect vacation spot. There are still some cheap hotels in Barbados that are located along the west coast, so don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

All Seasons Resort

 

All Season’s Resort is located in Holetown. This property is actually not on the beach it is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach which is right by the Beach House which is also on our list of places for one of the best rum punches on the island! All Season’s Resort is a simple 3 – Star property, they have a pool and an Indian restaurant on the property. It is also close to shops and the grocery which is perfect because these villas come with kitchenettes so you can cook your own food! Traveller’s Palm

 

Traveller’s Palm is actually located just around the corner from All Seasons Resort. The rooms here also come with a kitchenette making it easy for you to grab your own breakfast before exploring for the day. The prices here are about $64usd per night on average. Discovery Bay by Rex Resorts

 

Discovery Bay is located just outside of Holetown, the accommodation is basic and they also offer all-inclusive rates. There are many restaurants within walking distance, and the popular party street, Second Street, which is literally a 2 minute walk away. Discovery Bay is located right on the beach as well and you can easily walk down to Folkstone Marine Park to go snorkeling. Prices here are about $148 per night. Beach View Hotel

 

Located in Paynes Bay this hotel is a bit further away from Holetown. It is still only about a 5 minute bus ride away from grocery stores and other shops. This is a great spot if you are planning to go swimming with sea turtles in Barbados. The rooms all have their own kitchens and it is located right on the beach. Price are around $200 per night. This property is located on Colony Club Beach which is a long stretch of beach located just to the north of Holetown. This property is stunning and has some beautiful rooms. Fairmont Royal Pavilion

 

This stunning property is one of many hotels in Barbados on the beach. Fairmont Royal Pavilion also has two restaurants on site that serve international cuisine and Caribbean cuisine. It is located about 5 minutes north from Holetown. They organize many tours for guests including watersports and catamaran cruises. This All Inclusive resort in Barbados is located right on the beach. It also has a pool, gym and spa. The all inclusive price includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and drinks. The cottage has gotten great reviews on AirBnB. People love that it is right on the beach. It is located at Mount Standfast, about 5 minutes away from Holetown. Barbados South Coast Hotels

The Barbados South Coast has some beautiful hotels dotted along the coast. The South Coast is lively and has many restaurants and bars to choose from. There are also loads of buses available to get you to your destination quickly. The south coast of Barbados is definitely busier than the west coast, but it is just as beautiful. Beaches here tend to be slightly rougher than the west coast.

This cute hotel is located at the top of St. Lawrence Gap. It has its own pool but it is also located right across the road from the beach. There are grocery and restaurants nearby. The hotel also has a bar and restaurant right by the pool but if you prefer to cook your meals, most rooms have kitchenettes. Prices are around $112 per night. Infinity On The Beach

 

This hotel is located a bit further down St Lawrence Gap, right on Dover Beach. It has a waterfront restaurant and two outdoor pools. These rooms do not have kitchenettes but you can add breakfast onto your stay. Once again it is close to many other restaurants and bars in St Lawrence gap so there are plenty of options for dining. This property is located along Maxwell coast road and it is located right on the beach. It has a swim up bar which is one of our favorite things ever, three pools and a spa. There is also a boutique if you would like to do some shopping, along with a games room and fitness center. Prices are around $230 without breakfast included. The Crane

 

This 5 Star hotel is located in St. Philip, just past the airport. It is located more towards the south eastern side of the island so the beach is a bit rougher than some of the other mentioned. That shouldn’t be a problem though as the resort has about 4 pools for you to enjoy. There are also four restaurants that serve, Thai, Japanese, seafood and light bites. There’s also an option for an included breakfast which is great because this hotel is located a bit further out from some of the busier parts of the island. Prices are around $230 without breakfast. This beach front property is stunning. There are loads of activities available along with a spa and gym. There are a few different restaurants to choose from here as well. So we never thought we would say this but… we love Sandals Resorts! Everything is included, so you can drink and eat all day and it is the perfect place for a romantic vacation.
